EN/OF is about contradictions in the work of the graphic designer Jan van Toorn. The book is a publication which accompanies the exhibition about Jan van Toorn and his work in the Kunsthal Rotterdam, 2004. In three essays art historian Els Kuijpers writes about how Jan van Toorn develops complex images, how they work and which culture and intellectual background they have. The design reflects visually and typographically the text from Els Kuijpers and the work of Jan van Toorn. Printed and published in March 2004.
