In the photo book Berlin-Wedding, Michael Schmidt photographs the district in a documentary style. Although the project was commissioned by the district office, Schmidt formulates its artistic concept of the city and its inhabitants. Part of the implementation is the deliberate design of b/w photographs in a wide range of gray values.
