Curriculum St. Joost
 

Since september 2004 we are working with a new curriculum which we developed over the last two years.
In short it works like this:
We made thematic oriented classes. Within each quarter a student has three different projects. We chose a classification from four topics (functions), derived from the analysis of the function fulfilled by symbols, images and signs in the professional praxis of communication:
Identity_representation_system_orientation, this communication-function are independent of media, panel and client.
1. Identity = determined and make a identity possible
2. Representation of persons, ideas and institutions etc.
3. System oriented, in a system working, with a system working, for a system working
4. Orientation, find and make orientation etc.
This four functions are the basis for formulating the projects.
