Since 1995 GFG works as a nomad designer: ambulant design is an
itinerary one-person studio working internationally in the field of graphic design, doing concept, design and production, in close cooperation with writers, artists, art historians, fellow designers.

GFG was professor for Visual Communication at the Merz Academy in
Stuttgart, Germany from 1990 until 2000. Teaching projects:
Introduction classes (Graphic Design and Typography/Photography),
Masterclasses – Visual Communication/Theorie (with Diedrich Diedrichsen), EMMA (European Media Master of Arts) also concept and organisation of lectures: ringvorlesungon theorie and praxis, cultural studies, inbetween theorie and design.

Since 2001, Gabriele is teaching (kerndocent ) Visual Communication at the Hogeschool Brabant/Academie voor Kunst en Vormgeving/St. Joost.
