An artist publication to coincide with Fiona Tan’s exhibition »Depot« showing at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, July 2015

This publication shows an insight into Fiona Tan’s research into the art project and exhibition along with the historical images and facts that inspired it. Tan has an enduring fascination with the sea and marine life and how mankind’s relationship has changed with it, specifically the treatment of whales from an energy source to a sideshow curiosity to a conservation priority.
